Terms and Conditions

By creating a Sharshor account you accept these terms. Provisional text updated on 29 October 2026: it must be reviewed by a lawyer and name the responsible entity (company) before it is published as final.

1. Account and access

You sign in with your Google or Apple account (depending on what is available on your device). Sign-up with email and password is not allowed. You must be 18 or older and use truthful information in your profile.

To find and fix faults, the app and the website send technical error reports without your personal details, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. Professional profile

Your profile includes a photo, name, age, profession (up to 20 characters), up to 3 skills, a description of up to 200 characters and a professional link (Portfolio). Name and age cannot be changed after sign-up.

3. Acceptable use

Sharshor is a professional network. Romantic or sexual content, harassment, impersonation, spam and links in the Global Chat are not allowed. The Global Chat applies language moderation and a limit of 5 messages every 10 seconds.

The images you send or upload (in chats, groups, your profile photo, a group photo and ads) go through an automatic review before they are saved. If an image contains nudity or sexual content, graphic violence, gore or other content that breaks these rules, it is rejected and not sent; in some cases it may be flagged for review by the Sharshor team. The review is automatic and can make mistakes: if you think an image was rejected by mistake, write to us from the Support page.

4. Connections and limits

Free accounts have a daily Like limit (currently 20) that resets every day at 00:00 UTC; withdrawing a Like does not give back the Like already used. A mutual Like creates a Match and enables one-to-one chat.

In one-to-one chats and groups you can send GIFs from the KLIPY service. These GIFs are third-party content: we do not create them or review them one by one, and the conduct rules in these terms also apply to the GIFs you send. You can report them like any other message.

5. Safety and reports

You can report profiles and conversations, and undo a Match (Unmatch) at any time. Accounts that break these rules may be suspended. If an account is suspended, we keep its email address to prevent it from signing up again with it, and we keep the related reports even if the account is deleted.

6. Radar and CV

Radar makes you visible for professional opportunities and is optional. To turn it on you must add your CV, which you can write yourself or upload as a photo or PDF for an artificial intelligence to read; you review and confirm the data before it is saved. You are responsible for your CV being truthful and your own. While Radar is on, the Sharshor team and recruiters can see your CV data. You can delete it or turn off Radar whenever you want. A recruiter can send your name and profession to their organisation's applicant tracking system (without email or phone number), and keep you in their hiring pipeline with internal notes. More detail in the Privacy Policy.

From the interview stage, a recruiter can invite you to a video call through Sharshor. Joining is optional. The call is provided by a third party (Daily), neither side sees the other's email, and the link expires after 3 hours. The same acceptable use rules apply during calls, and you must not record or share a call without the other person's consent. You can report a recruiter from the conversation at any time.

From the offer stage, a recruiter can send you a contract to sign electronically through Sharshor, using a third-party signature provider (SignWell). Signing is optional and you can decline. The contract is between you and the organisation: Sharshor is not a party to it, does not write or review its content and is not responsible for its terms. Read it carefully before signing.

7. Account deletion

You can sign out without losing your account, or delete it permanently from Settings. Deletion requires explicit confirmation and erases your profile and your conversations.

After you confirm, your account is hidden from other members and is permanently deleted 7 days later. If you sign in again before then, the deletion is cancelled and your account goes back to normal. We will email you the deletion date and a reminder the day before. An account that is suspended during those 7 days is not deleted automatically; you can ask for its deletion from the Support page.

8. Identity verification (shield)

Verification is voluntary and is done from Settings. We check your identity with an official document and a liveness check with a selfie, through the provider Didit, which compares your face with the photo on your document. The verified shield means your identity was checked against a document; it does not certify that your profile photo is you or that what you say in your profile is true. To get verified you must give your explicit consent to the processing of your document and your face (biometric data), and you can withdraw it at any time. The same face cannot verify two accounts. If you try to get verified with data that is not yours, we may suspend the account.

Verified members can ask Sharshor to review their profile. If the Sharshor team considers that it stands out, the profile gets the Top diamond and appears earlier in Discover. The decision is made by a person, at our discretion, and does not certify anything about you beyond our review. If it is not approved, you can ask again after 7 days. We may remove the diamond if the profile changes or stops meeting these terms.

9. Premium subscription

Premium is optional and is purchased through the App Store or Google Play, which handle billing, automatic renewal and cancellation (in your store settings, under “Manage subscription”). It includes Connect (see who has Liked you), Incognito Mode, unlimited daily Likes, AI search (finding profiles by describing them), Weekly Spotlight (30 minutes once a week), weekly SuperPitches, one ad from the advertiser portal (shown for 30 days) and chat translation. Promotional codes can be used only once. We may change the benefits with reasonable notice.

Chat translation is done automatically by a third-party artificial intelligence provider and can contain mistakes, so check anything important with the other person. It only translates the messages you receive, when you ask for it, up to a daily limit (currently 500 messages); the original message is never changed and is always available. Recruiters will be able to translate candidates' messages from their panel as part of their subscription. More detail in the Privacy Policy.

Daily reward: members without Premium who open the app on 5 days in a row (counted in their own time zone) receive one free SuperPitch, and another one each time they complete a new streak of 5 days. A day without opening the app restarts the count. A free SuperPitch expires 30 days after it is earned, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and is lost if the account is deleted. We may change or end this reward with reasonable notice, and we may withdraw rewards obtained through misuse.

Organisations that use the recruiter panel pay a monthly subscription per organisation (currently US$25.99 a month), processed by Stripe. It renews automatically each month until it is cancelled from the panel («Subscription»), and access ends at the end of the period already paid. Without an active subscription the recruiter panel is not available.

10. Groups, events and ads

You can create or join groups (teams) and events, under the same acceptable use rules as the rest of Sharshor. When you create a team you can choose dynamic mode: anyone who does not send a message for 3 days leaves the team automatically. The creator and the admins are exempt from this rule and can give a member 7 days of immunity; a member with immunity only leaves if they are removed manually. The app may show third-party ads; we measure impressions and clicks to report to advertisers. The Global Chat plays optional background music (you can mute it): the track “Blues Lofi” by ZephiraMusic, under the Pixabay Content License.

Advertisers can publish ads from the advertiser portal once Sharshor has validated their organisation. With Premium in the app they can have one ad, shown for 30 days; after that it is paused and can be renewed for another 30 days while Premium is active. With the advertiser subscription (processed by Stripe) they can have up to 10 ads. A published ad cannot be changed for 30 days: it can only be paused or deleted. Before an ad with a link goes live, and regularly afterwards, the link is checked with Google Web Risk; ads whose link is flagged as phishing, malware, unwanted software or a scam are not shown, and if the check cannot be completed the ad stays on hold until it is reviewed. Advertisers are responsible for the content and links of their ads.

11. Website events

The events we publish on the website are organised by Sharshor and are free. To sign up you need an account and to accept these terms. Places are limited to the stated capacity and are allocated in order of registration. If you cannot attend, cancel your registration to free up your place. We may change the date, venue or format, or cancel the event; in that case we will notify those registered by email. The same acceptable use rules as on Sharshor apply at the event: we may ask anyone who breaks them to leave. Each attendee is responsible for their belongings and their conduct. We may take photos or videos of the event to promote it; we will only show you in a recognisable way if you agreed to it when signing up, and you can withdraw that permission from the Support page.

12. Partner coworkings

On the Coworkings page we list businesses that have an agreement with Sharshor and offer something to members, such as a free day pass. Each perk is offered and managed by that business, under its own conditions, availability and house rules; Sharshor does not provide the service, is not a party to your arrangement with the coworking and is not responsible for it. A perk may change or end at any time. To claim it you must be signed in with a complete Sharshor profile, and the coworking may check that you are a member.

13. Artificial intelligence

Some Sharshor features use artificial intelligence from a third-party provider (currently OpenAI): reading the CV you upload so you can review it, the automatic review of images, the translation of chat messages, and the search for profiles by description (for Premium members, recruiters and advertisers), which compares the text of the search with the public data of the profiles. These results are produced automatically and can contain mistakes: check anything important before relying on it.

We do not use artificial intelligence to make decisions that have legal effects on you or that affect you in a similarly significant way without a person reviewing them. Suspensions, identity verification results that are disputed, Top profile reviews and the validation of organisations are decided or reviewed by the Sharshor team. You can ask for a person to review any automatic decision by writing to us from the Support page. We do not use your messages, CV or photos to train artificial intelligence models, and we ask our provider not to do so either. Translated messages are marked as translated and the original is always available.

14. Business accounts (advertisers and recruiters)

Organisations create their own account in the advertiser panel or the recruiter panel by signing in with Google and giving the organisation's name and a nickname. Before publishing ads or contacting candidates, the organisation must add its tax details and a document that proves them, and Sharshor must validate them. The person who creates the account confirms that they are authorised to act for the organisation. Business accounts are not consumers, so the consumer rights in these terms do not apply to them.

We may refuse to validate, restrict or suspend a business account that gives false data, breaks these terms or the law, or puts members at risk. Except where the law or an urgent risk prevents it, we will tell the organisation the reason by email and it can ask us to review the decision from the Support page. The person who created the account can delete it from the panel («Delete account») once any active subscription has ended; this deletes the organisation, its team, its ads and their results, and its conversations, but not anyone's personal Sharshor account. An organisation with open reports cannot be deleted from the panel and must write to Support.

15. Refunds and cancellations

Premium bought in the app is billed by the App Store or Google Play. You cancel it from your store settings and it stays active until the end of the period already paid. Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy; to ask for one, use Apple's or Google's refund request.

Premium is only sold through the stores, so the store's rules on cancellation and withdrawal apply. This does not limit any right you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

The advertiser and recruiter subscriptions are paid with Stripe, renew every month and can be cancelled from the panel at any time; access continues until the end of the period already paid. Because they are business services, periods already started are not refunded, except for a billing error on our side, a duplicate charge or when the law requires it. To report a wrong charge, write to us from the Support page within 30 days and we will reply within 14 days. Promotional codes and free rewards (such as free SuperPitches) have no cash value and are not refunded.

16. Applicable law, disputes and arbitration

If you are a consumer, these terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. You can take any dispute to the courts of your place of residence. Before going to court you can write to us from the Support page and we will try to solve it within 30 days; you can also use a consumer arbitration or mediation body that Sharshor has joined, if any. Nothing in these terms requires a consumer to go to arbitration.

If you use Sharshor as a business (advertisers, recruiters and any organisation using a panel), any dispute arising from these terms or the service will be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Madrid Court of Arbitration (Corte de Arbitraje de Madrid) under its rules, by a single arbitrator, in Madrid and in Spanish, and the award will be binding. Either party may still ask the courts for urgent interim measures. This clause does not apply to consumers.

The company that provides Sharshor and its details are listed in the legal notice. If a part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force.

17. Changes to these terms

If we make a significant change to these terms, we will notify you by email at the address linked to your account and, where possible, also in the app, stating the date from which the changes apply. If you keep using Sharshor after that notice, you are deemed to tacitly accept the new terms: continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree with the change, you can stop using the service and delete your account from Settings before it applies. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your express acceptance again. Accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy is required to sign up.
